SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF MARYSVILLE

Soroptimist International of Marysville is a group of women of all ages dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world.

Our signature projects:

Financial assistance to girls in furthering their education after high school
Dream It Be It program, a more direct hands-on approach in mentoring middle and high school girls

We support local programs in the fight against violence and trafficking against women and girls. We support our YMCA, Marysville Food Bank, NJROTC, Dawson Place, Cocoon House, Klos for Kidz, Boys/Girls Club, just to name a few.

FUNdraising

Our Annual Benefit Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. In addition, we host other fun events like Bunco You will also find us hosting the beverage bar the Marysville Opera House on occasion.

Our Programs

There are many ways that we empower women and girls. Annually, we provide an financial award to a female head of household who is receiving education to provide for her family. We also provide an award to a young lady between 14 and 17 who volunteers in her community and to her organization of choice. In addition, we give to a local woman who is makes a difference in our community. Lastly, but not least, we give thousands to deserving young ladies who are preparing to further their education after high school.

Community Outreach

We support many local projects and organizations both financially and through volunteerism. These groups include: Marysville, Lake Stevens & Arlington Community Food Banks, Marysville YMCA, Connections Center for Homeless Students, Hoff Foundation, Salvation Army, Sherwood Community Services, Dawson Place and more.
